A revolution in solar is very near…The new technology of perovskite solar module is by far the most efficient ever. The tested module made up the output efficiency of 29.5%.
The testing conditions was to be at 25°C temperature, Air Mass of 1.5 and Irradiance of 1000W/m2.
The perovskite solar module is Still under testing and in its final stage till it reached the commercial market. The main disadvantage with this module is its total life which is betweek 5 to 6 years compared to silicon pv which lasts for more than 30 years. This proves to be the mail disappointment for this module to become available in the market.
Lets hope that this will be our future in the Solar Panels systems.
